BIO:
To make a long story short… while growing up, I drew all kinds of things on everything. Paper was fine, but there were so many more surfaces to discover. My gamut of possible canvases included table tops, various appliances, magazine covers, dollar bills, and pillow cases. I even created animations on my mothers check books (my mom wasn’t too pleased about that). In middle school, I was voted Best Artist. During high school, I continued to draw on everything from my cellar walls to the very shoes and pants I was wearing. I was in and out of bands at the time and music also created an outlet for the illustrator in me. I created album covers galore. I even procured a little cash painting bass drum heads and the backs of jean jackets for friends (it was the 80s). In college, I studied Art as well as Graphic Design and Ceramics (Ocean County College). I got married to my beautiful wife Maribeth and began freelance work. Around then I published my first drawing in an encyclopedia on the Presidents through Charles E. Smith Books Inc. A couple years and a lot of drawing later we moved to Massachusetts where I continued my college career attending The Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston. Following that, I took a Web Design certification program at Boston University. During all this I was still freelancing. I worked on local store advertising, built websites, and created illustrations for clients in various different mediums. I began working in-house as an illustrator for Argosy Publishing, MA. By the time my wife and I moved back to NJ, I had added many new clients to my freelance business and was published in various text books. Currently, I am a member of the Graphic Artists Guild, New York Chapter, and a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. I also appear in the Directory of Illustration.
